CMU senior wide receiver Titus Davis took an awkward hit to his knee in the fourth quarter of the Chippewas' 20-16 season-opener of Chattanooga. We've heard the injury officially described as a knee strain. And it forced him to miss out on the Chippewas big win over Purdue last week.
Today Syracuse rolls into town, and according to the official CMU Football Twitter, Davis will once again be out of action.
Titus Davis will miss today’s game as he continues to recover from an injury.

It's certainly never a good thing to be without your best player, especially someone as dynamic as Davis. But if CMU can run the ball like it did in Week 2, Davis' absence won't be felt as much.
