Western beat Murray State last weekend, securing its first home win since 2012 and first winning streak since 2011. The Broncos now stand at 2-1. Virginia Tech lost to Georgia Tech last week at home, the second game of a two-game losing streak, putting them at 2-2.

This is the fourth time the Broncos and Hokies have faced one another. Tech has yet to allow Western to score a point in the series, outscoring the Broncos 124-0 in three games.
