It's games like this that make fans want a running clock.
Oh god, where do I even begin to talk about how horrible this was? Actually, don't make me think about this more than I already have to. I'm just going to pass along some notes to you.
Florida had almost 400 passing yards
Jeff Driskel completed 31 of his 45 attempts for 248 yards, including one touchdown pass. He looked damn good tearing Eastern Michigan's defense apart. But the real blow here was that his backup, Treon Harris, was 2-for-2 for 148 yards. Both of his completions were for touchdowns.
Eagles still can't stop the run
Granted, Florida's talent level was too good for EMU to handle before the game started. None of the Gator running backs hit 100 yards rushing, but they had eight ball carriers rush for 259 yards. There were three rushing touchdowns in the first half.
Rob Bolden made his EMU debut
His first pass attempt was good for a pick six in the third quarter. He ended up completing two passes for four yards. He also picked up 13 yards on the ground.
Bronson Hill had zero rushing yards
Seven carries, zero net rushing yards. It's just that Florida defense with a bad offensive line. Reggie Bell, who started at quarterback for EMU, led the pack with 20 rushing yards.
This tweet just about sums things up
He is a former offensive lineman for EMU, so he's seen some shit.
I have seen three different coaches at EMU And we have never been able to stop the run or pass the ball efficiently...

The Eagles fall to 1-1 on the year and will travel to Old Dominion next week.
