The second match-up in the Michigan MAC Trophy competition is happening tonight and it could allow the Western Michigan Broncos to take the cake. After beating Central earlier this year (and currently sitting at a 4-3 overall record, 3-0 in the MAC), a Bronco victory solidifies WMU as the best MAC school in the Mitten State.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles no doubt have other plans, but will have to overcome recent struggles. EMU is 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the MAC and have lost the last three games by an average of 32.3 points. That being said, the Eagles have taken three of the last four contests against the Broncos.

Players to Watch

Zach Terrell - QB, WMU

Zach had a great performance last weekend against Miami, going 25 of 32 for 278 yards and three touchdowns. With the continued strong targets of Daniel Braverman and Corey Davis, it makes sense that Terrell will have another solid outing against Eastern. He might even take some stabs deep early on in this game.

Darius Jackson - RB, EMU

While there hasn't been much to cheer about for Eastern this year, one bright spot is Jackson's rushing. On the year, Darius has 799 yards and 13 total touchdowns (12 rushing, one receiving). He's also rushed for over 100 yards in the past three games and hit 141 yards against Army on September 26. The Bronco defense will have their hands full with Jackson.
