The Northern Illinois Huskies are coming off a thrilling victory over the #24 ranked Toledo Rockets. That's the good news. The bad news is starting quarterback Drew Hare is out for the season with a ruptured achilles. Red-shirt freshman quarterback Ryan Graham gets his first start for the Huskies in his place. Graham took over for the injured Hare with just over seven minutes left in the second quarter leading them to the victory. He threw for 132 yards and one touchdown in the winning relief effort.
The Buffalo Bulls are coming off their own exciting win as quarterback Joe Licata threw two fourth quarter touchdowns to overtake Kent State late 18-17.
