It doesn't get much bigger than this.
Western Michigan and Northern Illinois have battled all year. They've downed two MAC West contenders in CMU and Toledo already. With Toledo downing CMU last week in a "play-out" game, these two titans clash in Dekalb for a chance at the MAC West divisional crown.
Should Western Michigan win, the West comes down to a winner-take-all match-up when the Broncos head to Toledo to face the Rockets on Black Friday next week. If the Huskies win, they are just a win over Ohio away from the MAC West crown. And even if they were to falter to the Bobcats next Tuesday, should the Broncos beat the Rockets, then they'd still clinch their sixth straight trip to Detroit, something only the great Marshall teams from the late '90's to the early part of the century did (before the MAC Championship moved to Ford Field).
Also on the slate is Central Michigan heading to face a solid Kent State defense. Cooper Rush looks to continue to put up solid numbers against Demetrius Monday and the Golden Flashes. However, this game may come down to if Kent State can wake up and string together some scores against a solid CMU defense.
Both games are at 8:00 pm. The Western Michigan vs NIU game can be found on ESPN2. The Central Michigan vs Kent State game can be found on ESPNU.
