Jahwan Edwards will kick off what looks to be a bright professional future by making his way to NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Edwards had what many say was a glorious career while in Cardinal and White, making appearances in 48 games over the course of four years and rushing for 4,558 yards and 51 touchdowns. This season, Edwards continued to shine despite the team's 5-7 mark, totaling 1252 yards, second only to his sophomore season when the back carried the ball 232 times for over 1400 yards.
Currently, nfldraftscout.com has Edwards ranked as the 29th best running back from this year's class, as well as 375th when it comes to all players. The North Carolina native will be on the field for workouts on February 21st, when he will take the field along with other running backs, quarterbacks, and wide outs.
The combine in total will run from the 17-23 and be shown on NFL Network. Edwards joins other MAC players Jean Sifrin (UMass), Da'ron Brown (NIU), Titus Davis (CMU), Thomas Rawls (CMU), L.T. Walton (CMU), D.C. Celiscar (WMU),Greg Mancz (Toledo) and Quinten Rollins (MIami) in receiving invites.
