While it wasn't quite as full as last year's match-up against Michigan State, Waldo Stadium was rocking last night as over 28,000 fans piled into the stadium to watch the #25 Western Michigan Broncos take on the six-time defending MAC West Champion NIU Huskies. It was Homecoming, and fans from both sides were out to cheer on their team in a battle of MAC unbeatens.
Corey Davis was honored before the game, meeting with his family and adoptive family - the Grahams, who's son Ryan is a quarterback for the Huskies - before getting a ceremonial ball from former MAC great Jordan White. The Broncos, meanwhile, ended a seven game losing streak to the Huskies, to extend their personal winning streak to 8 games.
