With College Gameday in town, and an undefeated Western Michigan Bronco team on the field, Waldo Stadium looks to be packed this weekend yet again, despite temperatures that might not break 40.
According to the Western Michigan ticket office, around 5,700 tickets were sold on Sunday and Monday following the news about Gameday. That moved the mark at the time to 16,600 tickets sold by mid-day on Tuesday, with estimates of 1,000-1,200 tickets sold per day the rest of the week. However, with an influx of traffic due to the wildly popular television show in town, sales might be spiking this weekend.
With the estimates we have on hand, we can speculate that around 3,000 tickets remain for Saturday’s game. Remember, this takes into account the 7,000 seats reserved for Bronco students. A quick look at the WMU ticket site seems to confirm that.

Plenty of seats still remain by the North endzone, but options look sparse beyond that. Get your tickets now, or risk being left out in the cold without a few thousand buddies there to keep you warm.
