Miami vs Western Michigan at Soldier Field in February

MiHockey has announced that Soldier Field will once again host Miami and their conference foe this year as they'll take on fellow MAC and NCHC rival Western Michigan on February 7th as part of the Coyote Hockey Classic. Miami last played in Chicago two seasons ago in one of the last CCHA games against Notre Dame. Last year, Western Michigan won the GLI against Michigan and Michigan Tech, with both games being played at Comerica Park. Bowling Green is also set to play outdoors this season, heading to Fifth Third Field in Toledo, marking the first time in recent memory that all three MAC schools will be playing outdoors in the same season

Rob Blake: Hockey Hall of Famer

Rob Blake started his career with the Bowling Green Falcon hockey team. He was a CCHA First Teamer before joining the NHL, where he had a stellar career. 240 goals, 537 assists, and 1679 penalty minutes later, and he retired as one of the most dominant enforcers the game has known. Now, he's a Hall of Famer. Blake joins fellow classmates Dominik Hasek, Peter Forsberg, and Mike Modano in one of the more stacked classes in recent memory. Congrats to Blake, as he more than deserves this high honor
