The Lady Bobcats have been finding themselves in tight games recently, but this one could've broke either way several times. It featured 10 lead changes and nine ties, and of course five extra minutes. Not until the final minute did either team have an eight-point lead. OHIO had a 11-4 advantage in overtime even though the Eagles brought momentum with them by virtue of a game-tying three with 0:06 left.
Lots of great games from individuals for Ohio: freshman Alex'ie Baldwin scored 14 points on five shots to go with nine rebounds and two blocks. Kiyanna Black took the most shots and ended with 19 points. Shavon Robinson went 3-for-3 from three to finish with 17 points. Ashley Fowler ended with nine points, seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. And on and on.
Ohio is now 3-5, finally winning two in a row, and faces Marshall on Saturday.
