Oakland 73, Western Michigan 70 (4 OT)

Yes, that's four overtimes ... and still just 70 points. It was just 49-49 after regulation, followed by matching overtime frames of 7-7, 6-6 and 2-2. The Golden Grizzlies scored the first five points of the fourth overtime and just held on.

It was a game WMU led for most of the game, including up by nine points with eight minutes to play. In the second OT, Oakland had a chance to win, shooting two free throws down a point with one second left, but made just one of two.

WMU was led by A.J. Johnson's 15 points, all on 3-pointers (5-for-8 shooting). Miracle Woods had 12 points and four blocks.

That's an incredibly rough way to lose, playing 60 minutes and just coming up short. They must regroup as they fall to 2-5 and play at IUPUI on Wednesday.
