EMU tops WMU 56-52 thanks to an unlikely freshman source

When Eastern Michigan lacked the services of Miranda Tate and Olivia Fouty, they need somebody, anybody on their team to give them a big game. And they got it from a name I don't think many would've guessed: Bianca Cage.

The freshman reserve had scored a total of 11 points in four games and 40 minutes of playing time. Against Western Michigan she played 20 minutes, scoring 25 points on 16 shots - quite an increase. She also added three steals, and with nobody else on the team scoring with regularity, she was no doubt the difference in the win.

Marquisha Harris and Aurielle Anderson both scored 12 points for WMU in the loss.
