The Toledo Rockets coaching staff announced at tonight's annual banquet that three players would be leaving the program: Taylor Carver, Michele Hayes, and Kendyl Nunn.
Taylor Carver was a redshirt freshman who didn't see much playing time this season as she dealt with injury and a senior loaded front court. Michele Hayes saw spot duty at backup point guard in blowouts but her time on the court vanished once MAC play started. Kendyl Nunn was a four star recruit out of Chicago who was redshirted after injuring her foot early in the season.
Hayes and Nunn were both true freshmen and their leaving makes Toledo 0 for 3 with players from the 2012 recruiting class. Cat Wells, a point guard from Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, left the team before the season began.
In more upbeat news, Ryan Autullo reports another international recruit will be coming to the Rockets next year:
Toledo has landed Spanish PG Elena De Alfredo. Her profile from European Championship page: u18women.fibaeurope.com/en/cid_Fl2zSEH…

De Alfredo will be one of two international freshman on the team next year. Toledo confirmed the signing of Janice Monakana earlier in the month. Monakana is a 6 foot forward from London.
