Back on July 8 she scored six points and six rebounds in a 120-32 romp of Mali. The next day she netted 11 points and seven boards in a 101-61 win over the Czech Republic, then upped that with 12 points, four rebounds and three assists in a 105-75 win over Brazil.
In the quarterfinal against Sweden, she continued work with 11 points and six rebounds as part of a 103-72 victory. Versus Australia she scored just nine points, but most importantly that go-ahead bucket.
Elsewhere in international women's MACsketball, the FIBA Under-20 championship finals in Turkey features Spain and a pair of Toledo players: Inma Zanoguera, who has averaged 10.4 points and leads the team in assists and steals; and Elena De Alfredo, who is fourth in scoring. They will take on Italy in the championship tomorrow afternoon/night/whatever you want to call it depending on the continent you're on.
