2014 MAC Women's Tournament Championship Game, Halftime:

The 2014 MAC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship game started out about as bad as it could have for Ball State. The Cardinals couldn't nail a 3-point shot and akron was controlling the pace of the game. With five minutes left in the first half the Zips led by 10 as Rachel Tecca pounded the paint for Akron. The senior forward set the tone making up for Hanna Luburgh's lack of 3s.

But after the timeout Ball State went on a 6-0 run to cut Akron's lead to three with just over three minutes to go. Tecca continued to dominate going on her own 8-0 run all by herself to push Akron out to a 41-0 lead at halftime.

Tecca leads all scorers with 20 points on 10-of-12 from the field. Brandy Woody leads Ball State with 11 and is the only Cardinal finding any sort of real success on the floor. Ball State is shooting just 3-for-16 from the 3-point line. It's hard to imagine a comeback in this one as the Zips have taken control of this one.
