MAC: Referee did not follow "proper protocol" in calling out Central Michigan band and cheerleaders
In what became the signature moment of last night's CMU vs. Toledo game, referee Anthony Cannella called out the band and cheerleaders for "interrupting the snap" before a crucial 2nd and Goal for the Rockets. Today, the MAC head of officiating released a statement saying that "the official in question last night erred by making his announcement without following the proper protocol and identifying CMU’s cheerleaders." There was no penalty on the play, but it did manage to affect the drive; Toledo missed a 21 yard field goal on 4th and goal.

Dino Babers surprises two walk-ons with scholarships
One of the best things that come out of the pre-season in college football is seeing walk-ons who have put in the hard work over their career be granted a scholarship for the upcoming school year. Bowling Green head coach Dino Babers did just that after practice yesterday, granting defensive lineman Terrance Bush and linebacker Trenton Greene scholarships. We love seeing this type of thing, and congrats to both. Good on you Coach Babers.

Someone actually paired MAC schools with a unique craft beer
Shout out to @RedditCFB for this really cool thing. Basically, an r/CFB user used a rather complicated math equation (found here: http://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/3cwze4/oc_what_beer_is_your_d1_football_team_killing_the/) in order to determine a unique beer for every single D1 university taking into account brewery locations, fan attendence, and popularity of beers (amongst other extigent factors.) This is really something. Something bad. Although to be fair, Western Kentucky University does sit in Bowling Green, KY. But still, you can do a Google search. For real. Like, it takes two seconds.

ALL HAIL OUR BENEVOLENT MAC OVERLORD. Commissioner Jon Steinbrecher has earned a contract extension, until the 2019-2020 season. Steinbrecher has been the MAC commish since 2009, and the conference has been more relevant than ever, with three first round draft picks in the NFL in the past five years, and securing ESPN coverage until the 2026-2027 season. Now let's hope he gets a Twitter soon.

Serious question here. Let's break it down.
MAC has taken a stand, but College Football Talk wonders if the Big Ten will follow suit
There's been a lot of pressure from fans all over the nation toward the NCAA and Big Ten to pull its events from being held in Indiana in response to SB 101. Yesterday, MAC commissioner Jon Steinbrecher released a statement that there won't be any future MAC championships or meetings scheduled in Indiana "until this current matter is brought to a sensible and appropriate solution." The only MAC school in Indiana is Ball State. The MAC does not have any major events held at Lucas Oil Stadium, the home of the Big Ten football championship game, this year's NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four and next year's NCAA WBB Final Four.
MAC: No championships or meetings in Indiana
The MAC has joined the NCAA in condemning the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, but has gone a step further than their overseers in an unexpected statement earlier Tuesday.

The other three are on defense, two of those selections being defensive backs. The scouting combine can be seen on NFL Network form February 17th to the 23rd.
