Monday evening the Miami RedHawks picked up their ninth commit of their 2015 recruiting class, and surprise, surprise it was another offensive lineman.

Sam McCollum, a 6-foot-4, 275 pound offensive guard from Dublin Coffman High School in Dublin, Ohio is the sixth offensive lineman to commit to the RedHawks so far. Holding offers from seven schools in all, McCullom was being heavily targeted by the Ivy League and the MAC. He chose Miami over MAC rivals Toledo and Kent State.
Like many in this class McCollum appears to be a highly intelligent and physical offensive line prospect. he has a solid frame to be an interior lineman for the 'Hawks in the future, and coming from an esteemed program such as Dublin Coffman, is used to going up against quality talent and should adjust well.
