The Miami RedHawks picked up their 13th commit for their 2016 recruiting class after tight end Andrew Homer verbally committed to the program. They are easily having one of the best recruiting seasons in the MAC this year.
Blessed to say I have officially committed to Miami University to further my academic and athletic career! ⚪️ ⚪️ pic.twitter.com/9aW8z77HZC

Homer, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect played wide receiver through last season, but is expected to slide over to tight end for his senior year. A Cincinnati, Ohio resident, the St. Xavier Bomber held four offers in total, also including Bowling Green, Ohio and Toledo per 247Sports.
On National Signing Day, a big tight end prospect Alexx Zielinski flipped his commitment from Central Michigan to Miami, giving them a huge boost in momentum to have a solid recruiting class. Homer already has really promising vitals for his position, so maybe there could be situations where these two prospects are being used in goal line situations with Billy Bahl at quarterback in the future?
