The former Chippewa star has attempted 24 three-point shots in his lifetime, and finally sank one tonight against the Detroit Pistons at Auburn Hills for the first time in his long 13-year career. Kaman, a role player for the Portland Trailblazers, was a former lottery pick to the Clippers in 2003, and has also played in Dallas, New Orleans, and Los Angeles. Portland ultimately lost 103-123.

The Phoenix Suns' D-League affiliate Bakersfield Jam signed NIU graduate Xavier Silas on Thursday. This is Silas' first US-based job since October 2014, when he played NBA preseason basketball with the Washington Wizards.
Maurice Ndour waived by Dallas Mavericks
Former Ohio Bobcat Maurice Ndour has been waived by the Dallas Mavericks today. Ndour suffered a stress reaction in his left leg last week and was sidelined indefinitely because of it. With plans to clear waivers on Wednesday, Ndour will still search for an opportunity to play in the NBA or find somewhere overseas.
