Alonzo Russell became one of three (as of Sunday afternoon) Toledo Rockets to sign free agent contracts with NFL teams, signing his name to a contract with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals nabbed the talented Russell quickly after the draft, undoubtedly impressed with his size, athleticism and big-play abilities. Here is what we had to say about Russell in the lead up to the draft.
Cincy comes in seeking wide receiver debt after losing Marvin Jones and Muhammed Sanu in free agency. The Jungle Cats picked up Pittsburgh's Tyler Boyd in the second round, and now the Bengals will drill Russell and others for spots.
