BGSU Hockey Alums Pay for Student Playoff Tickets

This is a really awesome and generous move. Bowling Green has a very good hockey following and some very devoted student fans, but it is Spring Break on the BGSU campus. Hopefully, this will help draw students back to school early and bring in big crowds as the Falcons host a WCHA playoff series for the third straight year.

UMass Basketball adds Texas A&M transfer Antwan Space

This is good news for the Minutemen as they lost both of their only reliable big man in Maxie Esho and Cady Lalanne last season. At 6-8 Space should come in right away and compete for the starting forward spot. He's a graduate transfer so he only has one year of eligibility. Last year in College Station he only played 12 minutes per game after averaging 23 the year before. He averaged 4.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in 2014-2015.

UMass Basketball to retire a jersey for John Calipari according to Marc Bertrand

There has not been an official announcement from the school yet but Bertrand is a pretty good source. The final home game on Wednesday it seems as this will take place next year. The twitter-sphere has had a field day with the vacated wins connection which is fair. However, to not think Calipari is considered a UMass legend is a poor opinion. Vacated wins or not he put UMass on the map basketball wise and got people talking about a forgotten program.
