After a thrilling 17-14 win at Kent State last week to open their season the Ohio Bobcats (1-0, 1-0 MAC) hit the road again, this time to face an SEC opponent. The Bobcats head down to Lexington, Kentucky today to face an upstart Kentucky team at 3:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
Ohio is searching for its third 2-0 start in four seasons, and its second consecutive in this series. Ohio beat Kentucky when they last played in 2004, but the Wildcats lead the series 3-2.
Ohio looked solid last week against Kent State, and should be able to score against a Kentucky team coming off of a 59-14 win win over UT Martin. But the question will be "can Ohio's defense slow down Patrick Towles and the high powered UK spread offense?"
