2015 Toledo Football Recruiting: OL Sami Kassem Commits To Rockets

On Sunday the Toledo Rockets added to what is already an impressive haul of class of 2015 linemen. Announcing his plans on his Twitter page, Sami Kassem of ASA College in Brooklyn, New York became the sixth offensive lineman, and 23rd overall prospect to give Matt Campbell, and UT a verbal pledge.

Originally from Cincinnati where he attended Indian Hills High, the 6'4 320 pound, junior college transfer will have three years to play two for the Rockets:

While many of the aforementioned commits will play on the outside at tackle, Sami, the brother of now former North Carolina State lineman, and NFL hopeful Ali Kassem, will more than likely suit up a guard, a position he is more than use to playing.

This past season at ASA, Ali was named First Team All-Northeast Football Conference after helping block the stout Avengers rushing attack to 1,517 yards, which was good enough for third overall in the league.
