Defensive back Kevin Banks, from Toledo, Ohio, is a 6-foot-1 185 pound speedster who has the ability to play multiple positions on the field.
Bank became the seventh player to commit to the Toledo Rockets on May 24, 2014, opting to go with his hometown team. A relatively unknown prospect prior to committing, Banks is unranked by the major scouting services, but is definitely a unique talent, and possibly a steal for the Rockets.
Recruiting services have him listed as a safety, but in high school Banks has played running back, linebacker, the slot and lines up in the defensive backfield.
Banks is sneaky fast, hits hard, and finishes up until the whistle blows on every play. He plays with a linebacker's mentality, which could make him a good hard-hitting free safety at the college level.
