Minutes from kickoff in the Swamp, and the Gators roster keeps shrinking as we get closer to game time.
According to the Gainsville Sun, 6 players have been suspended ahead of today's game. Lienbacker Antonio Morrison was confirmed to be sitting for today's game earlier in the week, but he will be joined in the sin bin by starting corner Loucheiz Purifoy, defensive tackles Darious Cummings and Jaynard Bostwick, wide receiver Latroy Pittman and offensive lineman Quinteze Williams.
Stack those suspended players on top of all of the injuries the Gators have suffered in the offseason, and it only feeds into the "But maybe..." feelings that Rockets fans have had in the back of their heads leading up to today.
No suspensions to mention for Toledo, but the Equipment crew sent this picture out on Twitter...

Not only has Toledo gone back to the Rocket logo on the helmets (skipping out on the classic interlocking letters they used for most of last year), but they've bought into the oversized logo trend that's taken college football by storm. Gotta admit, it looks really slick.
Kickoff is at 12:21pm.
