Eastern Michigan football is going to have some new treads for their home games this year. It's both simple and different, and it matches the ones that they've rolled out last year for their away contests.

For as much notoriety as EMU has gotten for the wall that they tear down as they go through the tunnel before the games, the real gem that they've done with Rynearson Stadium's nickname, "The Factory", is put diamond plate patterns on the uniforms.
These new home set includes a green uniform with the new adidas tech fit style, traditional stripes on the sleeve with one thick silver stripe and a pair of thinner white ones around that. The numbering is a diamond plate pattern in silver, outlined in white.
The helmet is green (away is grey) and keeps it consistent with the block E in the diamond plate silver and a silver face mask. EMU's away helmet didn't have this though: the new home lids include a thick and two thin stripes down the center. EMU's helmets used to have a stripe from the 1950s until the early 2000s. There will also be the players' number on the front of the helmet in the diamond plate pattern. (Edit: Looks like EMU wasn't done there with their helmets. Check the tweet from @EMUFB above and you can draw your own conclusions from there).
Pants will keep the same green colors used on the top with the same tech fit pattern.
