The State University of New York at Buffalo Bulls slaughtered the Bowling Green Falcons Saturday night en route to claiming their first-ever outright MAC East title. The Bulls controlled the game from the onset, and star-player Javon McCrea led the way with a career-high 34 points in his last game at Alumni Arena.
But the biggest moment of the game (Arguably) came from sophomore forward Justin Moss in the second half of the Bulls 88-65 win. Bowling Green guard Anthony Henderson bricked a 3-pointer that Buffalo guard Shannon Evans scooped up and sprinted down the other end of the court.
With Henderson hot on his heels and in his lane by the time Evans approached the rim he tossed the ball off the backboard where a high0flying Moss was waiting to slam it home with a vicious two-handed dunk. The near-capacity crowd erupted and rightfully so. Moss had another putback dunk later in the game, finishing with just four points in seven minutes, but his impact was made.
