If you have attended a Mid-American Conference athletic event in the past year+ you've undoubtedly been assaulted with the non-stop blarings of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Can't Hold Us". Why? Well Macklemore starts off his rapid fire first erse with "It's the return of the Mack". Yes, it has nothing to do with the Mid-American Conference, but hey, it was cool the first few times a MAC athletic department used it for a warm up song.
Finally a MAC school took it upon itself to make a true MAC-centric version of the song. In this case it's the Ball State athletic department and the Ball State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (and you thought there was no such thing as a "student-athlete") teaming up to do a Cardinal-themed music video, complete with Ball State inspired lyrics, a cameo from Bonzi Wells and several current Ball State student athletes.
The pressing question here is why isn't the Lembotomizer himself, Pete Lembo, spittin some rhymes on this track?
