Earlier this month, Western Michigan received another 2015 commitment from defensive tackle, Daniel Jackson. Jackson, a 2 star recruit according to 247Sports, attends Plainfield East high school in Plainfield, Illinois.
Jackson, a six-foot-three 250 pound defensive tackle, has a very high motor and never gives up on a play. Jackson; play did not go unnoticed as he chose Western Michigan over an offer from Ball State and interest from Central Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, and Northern Illinois.
Western Michigan currently has four defensive line commitments in the class of 2015 which will help to rejuvenate a program that struggled in about every facet last season. However with their recent recruiting success, especially on the defensive line, the future looks bright in Kalamazoo.
