Just over a week ago Western Michigan gained another class of 2015 commitment from Alex Grace. Grace, a 6-foot-1 200 pound athlete, plays both running back and linebacker for Swan Valley in Saginaw, Michigan.
Grace is a well-known name among people who follow high school football in the state of Michigan and for good reason. Grace finished his junior year with 2,952 yards, breaking the single season rushing record in the state of Michigan. He also added an impressive 26 touchdowns to his junior year stat sheet. Unfortunately these superb statistics didn't turn into many offers for Grace as he chose Western Michigan over his only other offer, Central Michigan.
Grace is rated a 2-star recruit by 247Sports and he seems to be a good under the radar find for Coach Fleck and his staff. Grace could play either running back or linebacker at the next level, either way look for him to make an immediate impact whichever side of the football he is on.
