McMullen was the first verbal commitment for the Broncos in the 2015 recruiting class, unfortunately he won't ever play for Western Michigan. The reasoning for the separation is unknown, however we do know that McMullen took an official visit to Indiana recently. Coach Fleck and his staff have been very vocal about wanting recruits who are 100% committed to Western Michigan and their program, thus frowning upon taking visits to other schools.
Despite visiting Indiana, McMullen does not hold an offer from the Hoosiers. McMullen lists offers from Akron, Appalachian State, Bowling Green, CMU, Cincinnati, EMU, Illinois State, Miami, NIU, and Toledo.
McMullen is a very talented player so it will be interesting to see what happens with his recruitment over the next few weeks.
